“My childhood dream was to become a doctor. The reason for that was that I wanted to help people and save the world.
As the years passed I found myself studying at the University of Turku to become a diplomat. During my studies I worked in a bank one summer, and that’s how I got interested in banking.
Once I finished my studies, I started working in a bank though my parents always said I would make a great teacher. I never wanted to become a teacher and actually thought that teaching was the last thing I would ever do. I decided to try it out though, and applied to teach for one year. But funnily enough, here I am still teaching after 17 years. Life never goes as you plan but eventually it will guide you to the right tracks.”
